Designer Michael Young contacted Emeco to initiate the back-and-forth design that resulted in Emeco’s first component-based chair. Lancaster features a re-claimed, solid ash frame and recycled die-cast aluminum seat and back- an expression of industrial technique and warm materials.

The Lancaster table features a solid ash top & base with a die-cast aluminum connection. The wood is offered in ash wood or dark stained ash-wood with powder-coated or polished aluminum connection. This collection of chairs, tables and stools combines warm, crafted wood with highly technical die-cast aluminum.
